Vogue has been a mirror of the art movements of each period since the first issue was published in 1892.Their commitment with arts has accompanied fashion on its pages, as there hasn't been a single year without an artist collaboration, whether they were photographers, painters or sculptors. Maybe the most known works are the photographs from genius such as Helmut Newton, Richard Avedon, Irving Penn, Henri Cartier-Bresson or Herb Ritts (in fact, Vogue was the first magazine to publish a photograph on a cover). But there's also been great painters that created masterpieces for the cover of Vogue, such as Dalí, Miró, and Andy Warhol.

Beach canvas created by environmental Artist Tony Plant.
Armed with little more than standard garden rake, environmental artist Tony Plant transforms the breathtakingly scenic beaches of England into temporary canvases for his swirling sand drawings.
Each work is created below the tidal zones where the sand is flatter and wetter, allowing for greater contrast as he quickly drags the rake into various geometric patterns. The beauty however is fleeting as the artworks last only a few hours before being consumed by the incoming tide.
Beautiful creation is a temporary, ephemeral works that are meant to be washed away by the waves.
Girls can skate !

Perfect image by Camilo Phos.
I love this film "Bones Brigade: An Autobiography" about skateboarding in the 80s, & truthfully, In Bones Brigade, Steve Caballero, Tommy Guerrero, Tony Hawk, Mike McGill, Lance Mountain & Rodney Mullen discuss their rise to the top of the skateboarding game. Plucked from obscurity as young kids, they made up a team which was cultivated & encouraged by Stacy Peralta. The documentary follows the personal challenges & difficulties they experienced as they progressed through their careers.
Ooh la la !!

Girls about town, take note: small is the new big. Tired of toting your entire life around in a humongous holdall? Then it's time to downsize and minimize. Get ready to experience an unbelievable lightness of being...
Louis Vuitton's mini icons dare you to ditch everything you don't need, but welcome all you do - keys, smartphone, wallet, lipstick - and still leave room for more! A concentrate of the Art Deco elegance of the 1934 original, the Alma BB is a lightweight and ladylike companion from day to night. The all-new Monceau BB - a mini replica of the 1986 classic - has the nostalgic appeal of a satchel, but is strictly for girls who've finished with school. And what of the Pochette Accessoires, celebrated since 1992? Well, it has graduated to full handbag status with an oh-so-subtle increase in size.
Its perfection !!

I adore this elaborate trick in the city. Do you like it ???
Melted Ice Cream Truck in Adelaide, Australia
This mysterious melted ice cream truck showed up in the suburban streets of Adelaide in South Australia in 2006. Though the image has been passed around the internet with a big question mark in place of artist credit, it is in fact 'Hot with the Chance of Late Storm', the work of Australian art collective 'Glue Society'. It was created for the 2006 Sculpture by the Sea fair.
900-Pound Box Man by Pablo Curutchet
Whereas Cordal's sculptures are subtle and small, this installation by Argentinian artist Pablo Curutchet is anything but. The 900-pound box man was installed in Boulevar san Juan and av. Marcelo T. Alvear, Córdoba, Argentina, in 2006 stood nearly 28 feet above street level and was constructed entirely out of cardboard boxes and tape. It took 11 people to mount it into place.
Inflatable Animal Sculptures by Joshua Allen Harris
Inflatable animal sculptures by Joshua Allen Harris come alive when placed above sewer grates on the streets of New York. Harris crafts the sculptures from plastic bags; when a train passes, air comes gushing out of the grate, causing the animals to 'dance'.
Very nice !!

Look at this beautiful color contrast !! Whether you come for the sun, the air, the spas, the style or the
natural beauty, there's an undeniable appeal to this oasis of desert
modern in the Coachella Valley.Designed by Peter Stamberg and Paul Aferiat of Stamberg Aferiat Architecture, The Saguaro is a new hotel in the Old Town of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Now there's a new place to lay your head while soaking it all up. The bright colors throughout the exterior and interior of the property, though non traditional in Southwest design, are meant to channel the palette of twelve indigenous wildflowers from the region.
A vibrant desert oasis? Check me in, please.

Naturally, we had no idea what a "waterfall swing" was.
Playing on the swing set just got a lot more interesting. - videos of the Waterfall Swing, a design for the 2011 World Maker Faire in New York,
Towering steel swing set holding attays of mechanical solenoids that create a water plane falling in the path of its riders. Formed from a tangent of ideas raised from the study of interractions of water as space, the swing is the first in a series that play with interaction in rides and installations. Riders pass through openings in a waterfall created by precisely monitoring their path via axel-housed encoders, creating the thrill of narrowly escaping obstacles. The swing is a cpllaborative project between Mike O'Toole, Andrew Ratcliff, Ian Charnas and Andrew Witte.
Let's see !!

This may be something that works best in a sunny beach town, but the famous stripes of Costa Nova, Portugal are such fun color inspiration.
The house were originally fisherma's shacks, painted to stand out against the sand. Over the years, they've gradually become vacation homes, and the latticing on many of them has been redone. The stripes, meanwhile, have become a colorful, beloved symbol of the town !
Set against bright blue sky of a summer's day, and with seagulls circling above,
Costa Nova, situated around 11 kilometres west of Aveiro, is somewhere which oozes family holiday appeal.
It makes you reminisce about long forgotten beach holidays as children - buckets and spades, sunshine, laughter, candyfloss and building castles and burying parents in the sand. Costa Nova is a place where you want to create happy memories for your children, while reliving those of your own. It's a place which by just being there makes you feel good.

"For a long time you wouldn't feel anything. And then you'd burst into fire. Forever. And the angels wouldn't help you, because they've all gone away."
" Fire walk with me."
For those of you who don't know, Twin Peaks is a 90' American tv show created by David Lynch. The series follows the investigation headed by FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper of the murder of a popular teenager and homecoming queen, Laura Palmer.
As with much of Lynch's other work, Twin Peaks explores the gulf between the veneer of small-town respectability and the seedier layers of life lurking beneath it. As the series progresses, characters who first appeared innocent are revealed to lead double lives, thus exposing their darkness.
Twin Peaks is my favorite !!

Chita is very colorful and lovely typical Brazilian flower print. During the colonization times, chita arrived in Brazil by the Portuguese. Lately some famous Brazilian designers are making wonderful things with this lively and very Brazilian fabric "Chita".
Now we will introduce the brand one of the most wonderful household goods among them.

8th FESTIVAL CINEMA BRASIL
October 5, 2012
Held yearly in Oct since 2005 and celebrating its 8th edition, this year, Festival Cinema Brasil will take place in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Hamamatsu.
FCB2012 officially kicks off in Sunday, Oct 6th at Eurospace in Shibuya, Tokyo and ends on Friday Nov 2nd at TOHO Cinemas Hamamatsu. The event will last approximately one month and includes six Brazilian movies and two Japanese movies about Brazil. amongst dramas, comedies, fictions and documentaries which portrait the enchantment of Brazilian cinema, different from American-Hollywood and Asian productions.
Here are our choices we want to see !!
TWO BIRDS / Action
Twists and turns. nothing is what it looks like. Or is it ? Like Guy Ritchie and Tarantino, Afonso Poyart explores violence romantically, gives good use to special effects, and tells us an unforgettable story. Like Memento or the Butterfly Effect, you might want to watch it more than once to see if you really got it. A definite must. A jewel in disguise.
Heleno / Drama Heleno, a man who had it all, but risked it all. I guess we could sum it up like that. But that would only simplify an intense and extraordinary story. His biggest dream since his boyhood: to play soccer and become the best player ever. Heleno's talent was undeniable, but his erratic behavior, both in the field and in life, jeopardized everything.
